Most of the weekend is not organised - you're free to do your own thing, play board games, socialise, explore the house, gardens and island.

Bringing Games

You are, of course, encouraged to bring your own games!

You can let everyone know which games you're bringing, and find out which games others are bringing, using the list.

If you'd like to arrange any board game competitions, post in the WhatsApp group to advertise for players.

Northcourt has space for up to 20 cars along with two pay-to-use 7.5kW car chargers located next to each parking area. Monta are the charging provider and can provide more information.

Public transport

The Southern Vectis number 12 bus leaves from the bus stop opposite Northcourt's drive and heads north for Newport or southwest to the coast and Freshwater/Yarmouth. Bus timetables are here and they pass through Shorwell every two hours.

Taxis

Taxis can be booked via the Go Taxi app.

Mobile / Wifi

Mobile signal can be patchy on the Isle of Wight. O2 customers enjoy good reception at Northcourt, while Vodafone and EE struggle but can pick up reception at the top of the house or paddock.

High speed broadband is available in Northcourt and Little Northcourt from two wi-fi hubs. Passwords are located on the rear of the routers.
